All shoots are shot at the location(s) of your choice. Feel free to bring anything you want included in your shoot. Suggested attire are solid, like colors. Try not to wear anything too distracting (stripes, busy prints, logos). Of course, kids are encouraged to wear whatever they please! I love shooting kids in tutus and cowboy hats. Anything goes, after all, if you’re young at heart. This is your shoot. You can be as casual or as formal as you like. Keep in mind, also, that the location of your shoot has a lot to do on how you’ll dress. Weather permitting, too! The best times for your shoot are mornings and before sunset, as the sun won’t be so strong and the overall natural lighting is better.

Though I provide suggestions on backgrounds and poses, I take it upon you to be as natural as can be by going with the moment and doing as you wish with the suggestions. If a child is running off because s/he doesn’t want to do a shot under a tree, that’s fine….i’ll run after them and snap away! If an adult is running off, they’re on their own!

Although your session will typically be around an hour, I am not strict on time if we go over because the subject(s) is not cooperating or there are technical difficulties or acts of god, etc. I want your shoot to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and the pictures should reflect that. You can’t rush great shots!

There is no limit to the number of people/animals in your shoot. The more the merrier, actually.

All I ask is to have fun and be yourself…..it shows!
